Terms of Use
These terms apply to everyone who uses this website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
Who we are
TOVA LEGAL advises individuals, families, entrepreneurs and businesses on UK immigration and nationality matters. We are regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority at Level 3, which covers advice, applications and representation in appeals and tribunal proceedings. That regulation applies to immigration and nationality work. We do not advise on other areas of law.
The information on this site is not advice
Everything published here, including our guides, case notes and updates on immigration law, is general information. It is written for a wide readership and it cannot take account of your circumstances. Immigration rules and Home Office policy change often, and material on this site may have been overtaken by a change since it was published.
Do not act or refrain from acting on the basis of anything you read here. Take advice on your own situation first.
Contacting us does not make you a client
Sending an enquiry, booking a consultation or exchanging emails with us does not create a professional relationship and does not oblige us to act for you. We become your adviser only when we have carried out our checks, confirmed in writing that we can take the matter on, set out our fees and terms of business, and received your agreement to them. Until that point nothing said between us is advice you can rely on.
We may decline instructions, and we do not always give reasons.
Fees
Any figure shown on this site is a guide to what work of that type usually costs. It is not a quotation. The fee for your matter is confirmed in writing before we start, and it depends on the facts, the evidence involved and the stage the case has reached.
Your use of the site
You may read the site, print pages and save copies for your own use. You may not copy, republish or adapt our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
The text, layout, graphics and name on this site belong to us or are used with permission. Nothing here transfers any right in them to you.
You must not misuse the site by introducing anything malicious, attempting to gain unauthorised access to it, or using it in a way that damages or disrupts it or the experience of other users.
Links
We sometimes link to government pages and other external sites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or for what happens when you use them.
Availability
We try to keep the site available and current, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or uninterrupted. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Liability
We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on information published on it. This does not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our responsibility for advice given to clients is governed by the terms of business agreed at the outset of the matter, not by this page.
Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and our Cookie Policy explains what this site stores on your device.
Complaints
Raise a complaint with us first, through the contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response you can take it to the Immigration Advice Authority.
Changes and governing law
We update these terms from time to time and the date above shows the last revision. The version in force is the one published when you use the site.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
